Artist Bio:
Born and raised in Pereira Colombia, Paola moved to New York city where she lived for over 18 years. She holds a BA in Studio Art with concentrations in painting and photography from Hunter College in New York City. Now she is a multidisciplinary Artist based in Austin, Texas. For over a decade she has been exploring human emotions, transformation and ancestral traditions using different mediums, contrasts, textures , colors and her mestizo roots. Her current project is called palapapa, it was born during the pandemic. Here she explores happiness and ways to elevate the human experience using visual stimulation with colors, simple shapes and forms. She creates landscapes that illuminate your souls and physical space as well
